Thank you to all who joined our CAN Opener!
Help CAN stop displacement of arts and culture in San Francisco!
Please join us at our Tuesday night meetings
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Mojo Theater, 2940 16th Street at Capp, Room 217
Our Long Term Objectives:
As an organization and as individuals we are uniting to develop an independent operation to educate and empower the public to help themselves and support each other in our efforts. We are joining other media groups to expand our media outreach.
Short Term Actions:
Part of our mission is to protect existing affordable units and insist on consistent enforcement of the zoning laws. We are educating at risk people and creating teams to write comments and speak on behalf of at-risk properties.
Artist and Media Specialists:
Express your feelings, ideas, and experiences in your medium. Shoot videos, photos; design graphics, cartoons and illustrations, posters and
flyers. Post them and share the links or send your art to share.
Help spread the word. We need your help creating and sharing the stories with the world.
Working Within the System:
We need your help working inside City Hall. If you are an activist, attorney, research specialist, accountant, architect, engineer, planning specialist, or have experience dealing with politicians and administrators, we need your help and support. If you need help figuring it out, or have questions, contact us. Let us know about your passions, availability, and willingness to help.
